Is there a single traditionalist conservative priest on this list ?

My sources tell me that Canon Linda Nicholls, a Wycliffe graduate, is likely to prove the conservative favourite. Fr Asbil would be the most dramatic coup for liberals. Canon Rois is not substantially more conservative than he is, but would be less of an obvious affirmation of liberalism.

I am responding to your posts on the SOF website (I am not a shipmate, I just lurk). I am a Canadian and I ordered my white poppies online from the Peace Pledge Union in the UK. Last year a store in Edmonton was selling them, but they stopped when they were threatened with legal action by the Royal Canadian Legion! I am a pacifist (I was raised Mennonite) and plan to wear a white poppy with extra poppies and leaflets in my purse in case others ask me about it. I hope white poppies catch on in Canada.

Thank you for that.
