(With apologies to whoever wrote the book for "Bye Bye Birdie")
Am I the only one who finds it odd that the two examples of agreements that the Anglican Church of Canada has broken which spring to ++Venables's mind (Lambeth I.10 and Windsor) are in fact, not "agreements"? Of course, if they represented consensus in the Anglican Communion, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

I'm getting heartily sick of dissenters saying that the ACC has "ignored the teaching of the Anglican Church as found in Lambeth I.10." There IS no "Anglican teaching," because we have no Magisterium. We have only the sacraments, the creeds, the scriptures and the episcopate, and even those are merely what we look for when forging communion with other denominations. There's no overarching teaching, which is what these characters really want - someone (themselves) to tell everyone how to think.
