Another goody from St John' s Episcopal Church in Detroit, which alas does not allow most of their videos to be embedded. But it's here for the viewing. I got to sing this yesterday during Choral Mattins at the Church of the Nearest Sunday.
Lucky you! Thanks for the link to a nice, if average Sunday-morning-at-eleven, performance of one of my favorite choir girl memories. A piece that rises to the lips unbidden from time to time. Some of their pointing does jar but I can see the point of it.
Anyway, it did the trick to lift me out of a sentimental wallow in melancholia pursuant to the Remembrance Day observance and the viewing of Great War memorabilia. You did good!
