I don't understand why the first Four Sundays after Epiphany are white. is this a typo? After the baptism of the Lord we revert to green. In Roman thinking, it is "Ordinary Time". We use the BAS Propers which follow consecutively through the Epiphany and the "Pentecost" Seasons. Sundays are always Festivals of the Resurrection, but the assigning of white to some Sundays after Epiphany makes no sense, as it would in Eastertide.
The colour for Sundays after Epiphany follows the Common Worship reckoning of the 40 days of Christmas.
Why do you follow Common Worship and not, say, McCausland's?
For those who want McCausland's, there is McCausland's.
