Virtue is claiming that the Archbishop of Canterbury's addressing ++Bob Pittsburgum as "Most Reverend" legitimates his primacy. I refer to the Ecumenical Patriarch as His All-Holiness. That doesn't mean I'm in communion with him.
Our best bet I think is to assume a similar stance toward the Anglican Church in North America as our sister church does to the Lutheran Church - Canada. We're happy to be in communion with them if they should want it.

This is not the first time that the GAFCONites have tried to read acceptance and validation into the forms of common courtesy. Last year they were claiming that a standard note sent off by ERII in response to a letter was proof of support from her. I'm surprised that they don't see that this makes them look desperate.
He is the elected metropolitan of his province, so I don't see why he wouldn't be addressed as such. It says nothing about the appropriateness or otherwise of admitting to the Communion a geographically coextensive and rather litigious body formed around a particular view of sexual ethics.
